Christmas Traditions part 4

Every year we try to take in a play or school production or a ballet (our favorite being the Nutcracker!) or a concert... We are fortunate to live in a moderate sized town that has all of these options available during the holiday season. For years and years we drove into the city to see the Nutcracker. We would visit stores and get all dressed up... but now that our daughter is grown, we don't do this as often. Looking forward to some grandbabies someday to start the tradition all over again!

Do you attend these events in your community? Who usually does the offerings, the Cultural Committee of your city, the school, someone else?

Would you like to comment?

  1. it is our family tradition to attend the Trans Siberian Orchestra Christmas show. We have a "pre party" at our house for all of our kids....just a bunch of holiday appetizers. And then we all go to the show. It's something we love. Now this year, the show is coming to our city early November so i guess it will just put us in the Christmas mood early......and I'm fine with that :)
