Three Christmas Trends for 2021

The top trends for Christmas in 2021 are so beautiful and are inspiring us to embrace the holiday season with joy.  It's time for us to open our doors safely to our friends and family, and we all want to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.  Check out these trends for the 2021 holiday season.

Christmas trends for 2021 include christmas plaid

1.  LED Twig Trees

This tree will continue to be a trend but what is new is that the trees are staying up all year round!  You will see this tree in my home, featured on the 2021 Christmas Trees on Parade.  I cannot wait to show you how I have made it a festive part of my holiday home.  If you click on the link above, it will take you to Amazon, which is where I purchased my tree.  If you buy from me, I earn a commission.

2.  Nostalgic decor

I think we have all realized the importance of family and I know that I was desperately sad in missing out on some of our traditions in the last couple of years.  Traditional colors, red and green, vintage ornaments, vintage linens, anything that will make a nod to the past will be a part of the experience of Christmas this year.  Dig around in the old ornament box, mend the old ornaments, and look for vintage ornaments in stores.

3.   Christmas cards

Christmas cards will make a slow comeback, but they will come back!  During our stay at home, we had time to enjoy the writing of cards and planning to share Christmas wishes with those we don't see often.  Look for sustainability when comes to cards and wrapping paper.  Looking for environmentally friendly products is a responsible thing to do.  One card company even uses recycled coffee cups for their cards, so you can drink your coffee and still help the environment!  A good company to use for this is paperculture.com.

Check in again as we discuss more Christmas trends in the days to come.  Remember to order early as to not get into a fix with shipping.  It seems that delays are the norm these days.

  4. The ornament out of a picture of a loved one is a great idea. We lost my dad this year and it will be our first christmas without him, maybe I should make a picture ornament of him for our tree.
