Decorating with Buffalo Plaid for Christmas!

One of the cutest trends for Christmas this year is buffalo plaid, and it is so popular you can find it in all of the stores, even Dollar Tree!  This year I wanted to change up my pink breast cancer tree and decorate my loft with this popular plaid!  I'll show you my new finds and where I got them so you can repeat the look, too!

This loft is upstairs between two bedrooms at my home.  We keep our exercise bike in there, along with a TV and a comfy loveseat.  My office is in one of the two bedrooms, so when I can't stand to look at those four walls any longer, I head out to the loft.

My husband built the wireframe for me years ago.  I absolutely love it and use it every season for hanging cards, and off-season I put photos of our tailgates, our graduation tassels, and other fun photographs on it.  It is just fun to decorate!  Some of the cards you are seeing here are from past Christmases.  I never throw them away!

The three stockings, the darling teardrop trailer, the basket, the tray, the coffee cups, and the placemats all came from my local Dollar Tree store.  The thing is, I had to go back multiple times, as they don't just put everything out at once.  So if you don't see something when you go, first be sure to ask, and second, check back in later!

The darling tree skirt came from Etsy.  I'll be talking more about the tree and the decorations next week when I host our Christmas Trees on Parade.  I've linked to last year's event so you can see the cute trees featured last year!

My daughter gifted us with this vintage teardrop trailer which I believe she got from Target.  It was the perfect addition to our decor this year.  I am totally in love with it!

The wine bottle covers came from Amazon.  I love the gold stars and the reindeer fur.  So cute and very affordable!

This darling pillow was also an Amazon purchase.  I tend to spend a little more on pillows, as we do actually use them when we are on the couch.  This is a nice pillow.

I collect Christmas books and think they make a nice addition to the decor in my house.  The darling wine bottle tree, all lit up, was a garage sale find for $2.00!

Are you on the Red/Black Buffalo Plaid bandwagon?  Tell me your finds!

  3. Buffalo plaid is a weakness of mine, but always white and black. Your red buffalo plaid looks much brighter then I thought it would. Love what you've done with it, and I sure noticed that gorgeous Christmas book collection.
