Woodland Ornament DIY

Today I am sharing this adorable Woodland Ornament as it is so easy to make, all the materials come from the Dollar Tree, so it is budget-friendly, too!  This ornament looks amazing on all trees since most of the elements are from trees!

To make this ornament you will need the following materials from Dollar Tree:

1.  a round, plastic, fillable ornament with a large removable cap  $1.00

2.  two bags of miniature pinecones  $2.00

3.  one small tree branch (you can snip one from a real evergreen, or take one off of an old Christmas tree) approximately 3 inches long  $0

4.  8-12" of ribbon from your stash $0

5.  hot glue gun, warmed and ready to go.

Instructions

1.  Remove the cap.

2.  Open the pinecones and using the ones that will fit, fill the ornament about 1/3 to 1/2 full.

3.  Insert the tree branch.

4.  Replace the cap.

5.  Tie a bow around the cap and secure with a bit of hot glue.

6.  Optional:  add a pinecone and a small branch by the bow with a bit of hot glue.

To hang, tie a piece of string or attach an ornament hook to the top of the ornament.

So simple, yet pretty and festive!
