Snickerdoodle Martini

We welcomed the week before Christmas with our daughter and her husband driving from Chicago to our house. As they entered, we had these amazing Snickerdoodle martinis ready and waiting for them. So creamy and the perfect amount of cinnamon/sugar goodness.  Read on to learn how to make a Snickerdoodle Martini.

This cocktail is simple, which makes the best cocktails in my opinion! Just a few good ingredients is all you need to make this cookie in a glass!

Cheers!

Snickerdoodle Martini
(Makes two)

1 c heavy cream
2 oz vanilla vodka
1/2 c ice
4 oz caramel, melted
3 T sugar
1 T cinnamon
Whipped cream

Melt the caramel in a pot or in the microwave in short intervals, stirring after each time. Mix the cinnamon and sugar together. Dip a martini glass into the caramel and immediately into the sugar/cinnamon mixture.

In a cocktail shaker add ice, vodka and cream. Shake until the shaker forms a layer of frost. Strain into two glasses. Add a dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture on top of the whipped cream.

Serve.
